The Ocean Plastics Lab is an extremely lavish and elaborate – and most amazingly free! – exhibition showcasing what science is doing to understand and combat the problem of plastics in the ocean.

This international travelling exhibition opened its doors daily to the Brussels public on the Esplanade Solidarność 1980, in front of the European Parliament from 9-19 April 2018. Come join, let the team talk you through it in English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. Raising awareness is crucial.
The Ocean Plastics Lab is an initiative supported by the European Commission, the SEARICA Intergroup of the European Parliament and was initiated by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) and is coordinated by the German Marine Research Consortium (KDM).
