So considering all the little thoughts I had along the past days on how to reduce, reuse and recycle, I checked out one of the stores in which goods are sold without plastic packaging. Interestingly, there is usually at least one store in every semi-big city in Germany.
This particular one is called SELFAIR and situated in Bremen. I got really inspired by the products and alternatives they sell, alongside fruits, veggies, snacks and drinks.
They also participate in the Food Sharing Initiative, which I particularly like – no food gets thrown away, because it’s got a dent or is a bit older.
If you go online, there are many websites that collected ‘unpackaged’ stores in different cities, maybe you can find one close to you?
